The project foresees the installation of underground waste containers equipped with sensors, the establishment of a digital monitoring system within the municipal utility company, and capacity building for employees. Awareness-raising campaigns and citizen engagement activities will also be implemented in order to encourage responsible waste management and recycling among residents.

The project aims to improve the accessibility, availability and coordination of emergency medical services in the Pirot urban area through the establishment of an integrated emergency medical service system covering Pirot, Babušnica, Bela Palanka and Dimitrovgrad. The project includes the development and equipping of emergency medical infrastructure, strengthening the capacities of medical staff and local first responders, as well as public awareness-raising activities. The establishment of an inter-municipal coordination mechanism and a joint emergency alert system is also envisaged in order to ensure a faster and more efficient response in emergency situations.
