About the Programme
EU INTEGRA is the European Union’s support to integrated territorial development in Serbia. With a total value of 15 million Euros, the Programme helps local, regional, and national institutions plan and implement sustainable strategies aligned with EU Cohesion Policy 2021–2027 and Chapter 22.
Led by the Ministry of European Integration (MEI), the Programme covers 144 local self-governments and regional development agencies across three regions - Šumadija and Western Serbia, Southern and Eastern Serbia and Vojvodina.
EU INTEGRA Programme is delivered through two complementary components:
UNOPS-led component focused on strategic planning, capacity building, and technical assistance, and a SCTM-led component that manages a 10.14 million Euro grant scheme and supports integrated project implementation at the local level.
EU INTEGRA builds on the experience of EU PRO Plus, which introduced the Integrated Sustainable Territorial Development (ISTD) model in Serbia.
